Last week...
Last week was not very good. Lot's of crasyness that I am not going to detail.. But I did have two highlights and I want to make sure I remember so I am writing them here. So I can look back at last week and think "oh, it wasn't too bad"!! On Tuesday a dear friend brought her husband over and he fixed my toilet that has been broken for over a month. Then when I came home late on Friday night after spending some fun hours again in the ER I had a message from my milk man company. And Yes for those of you that don't know it, I get my wonderful milk delivered to my door every week. And I love it.. Well they had a drawing that if you spent over 30$ you would enter the contest to win 100$ credit with them. And I won it!! So that did make my weekend!!! And the biggest highlight was that I heard a rumor that my husband would be back in my arms very soon.. And for that I can't wait!!!
Patience....
Someone prayed for patience for me, I KNOW IT...!!! The reason why I know it is that I am stuck in this waiting place. Where I have to wait PATIENTLY for everything.. It is driving me nuts!!! I am in general a very patient person. Right now though I am having a hard time.. So whoever you are start praying for Contentment instead OK!!!!

7 years ago it would have been about 6am in the morning Iceland time. I was screaming from pain thinking my baby would never be born... The minutes seemed like hours.. But then only 5 hours later my sweet 9,6lpd. Agusta entered this world. The most beautiful little person I had ever laid my eyes on.. It is hard to believe it has been this long. I will never forget March 6th 2001. So my birthday girl excitedly waits until tomorrow when she will be an official 7 year old. And I sit and wonder were the time went.
A day in Las Vegas...
Today at 11:15am I drove out of my little subdivision. Onto Farm Rd which I do a lot without any major significance. Today was different. I get to the corner of Cimmarron and there are 3 police cars stopped on the corner. 5 boys between the age of 14 and 16 are sitting there in handcuffs. A man in civilian clothes is yelling at one of the boys. I drove further up Farm and then this older looking fellow is walking down the street smoking what appears to be a joint holding a PLANT. I wondered if he even saw the police cars since he looked so out of it!! Anyways I guess the Vegas police had plenty to do in my neighborhood today!!
